Q: What do I need to have with me when I scrap a vehicle?
A:You need to bring the vehicle to our location either running or not running. Have the signed Michigan title and your State of Michigan license or photo ID. Remember to gather your license plate and belongings before leaving the vehicle.
Q: Do I need to sort my material?
A:Sorting gets you the most money because each metal has its own value.
Q: Do I need a scrapping license?
A: No license is required at this time but you do need to have a photo ID.
Q: Do you recycle things other than metals?
A: We can accept cardboard, drain oil and anti-freeze for recycling but liquids cannot be mixed. If you have paper, plastic, glass, etc. you can take these items to our Deerfield Disposal center.
Q: Do you pick up items?
A: We do not have a pick-up service but we can place a dumpster at your site if you have a big clean-up.
Q: Do you sell car parts?
A: No! We crush the vehicles we buy and send them for recycling.
